G & J Parking Lot Maintenance Ltd.'s concrete division is equipped to handle new construction projects ranging from small commercial site work to sub division site work. We would be pleased to provide you with a quote for your project. There are 2 typical types of curbs. One is a barrier curb which is cast in place on a prepared subgrade. Barrier curbs are generally 6 inches wide and vary from 12 to 18 inches in height. The other type of curb is a pin on curb. This curb is generally 6 inches by 6 inches and pinned on top of asphalt or concrete with steel dowels. Used mainly on roadways and at times in parking lots where drainage is a concern. A concrete structure on grade designed for access off main roadways into parking lots or driveways. Profiles and designs will vary between commercial and residential use. MONOLITHIC SIDEWALK CURB & GUTTER This is a concrete structure combining the sidewalk with the curb and gutter. The profiles are either a straight face mono or a roll mono. We construct sidewalks to any specification. We will design and build a concrete ramp for your specific use. We also construct wheel chair ramps and curb ramps. Be it commercial concrete aprons or paving or residential driveways, we can design and build or build to your specifications. There are many different things that can be done to new and existing concrete these days to enhance appearance. Stamp patterns, stains, exposed aggregate finishes and brick borders are quite popular.
